What it is?
SGDC uses teeth whitening system with high concentration of hydrogen peroxide to remove
deep-seated stains and whiten your teeth.
Our system has also Sodium nitrate which inhibits post-operative sensitivity after treatment.
How it works?
First, your attending dentist will do a thorough oral examination. Your dentist will assess not only your aesthetic needs, but also your overall oral health needs.
Then, your dentist will perform complete oral prophylaxis (teeth cleaning) to make sure that superficial stains will be removed from your teeth.
Your dentist will then show you a shade guide that matches your teeth for comparison later on.
A gum barrier will then be placed to protect your gums from the whitening agent.
Your dentist will then carefully apply the whitening agent on your teeth and direct the whitening light on your teeth. The light will activate the whitening agent and make the whitening process faster.
One cycle would last for only 20 minutes and all you have to do is relax and wait.
Once the cycle is over, your dentist will show you your teeth, with your previous shade guide to compare, and if you still want a whiter smile you can request for another cycle.
Optimum results could be achieved in 3 cycles (1 full session of teeth whitening)
Lastly, fluoride will be applied on your teeth to make your teeth stronger and help lessen post operative sensitivity.
